What the Plugin Does

The Yaoki WP Personality Quiz plugin adds a fully interactive quiz to your WordPress site to help authors identify their WordPress working style.

It includes:

  • Referral tracking
  • Automatic Pro feature unlock after 3 successful referrals

How to Use the Plugin

1. Add the Quiz to Any Page

Place this shortcode inside any page or post:

[yaoki_wp_personality_quiz]

This renders the full quiz interface automatically.

2. Create a Dedicated Quiz Page

We recommend placing the shortcode on its own page (e.g., /wp-personality-disorder-quiz/) so visitors get a clean, focused experience.

3. Referral Unlock System

Inside the plugin’s admin screen (“Yaoki Tools → WP Personality Quiz”), you will see:

  • Your personal referral link
  • Your unlock progress counter (0–3)
  • Your shareable text snippet

When three unique visitors take the quiz using your referral link, Pro features unlock automatically.

No checkout, no friction.

4. Managing Your Settings

In the plugin admin you can:

  • Switch email capture on/off
  • Change colours (Pro)
  • Edit CTA text
  • Enable/disable referral messaging

More features will be added over time.

Troubleshooting

Quiz not showing?

• Make sure the shortcode is on its own line.

• Clear any page builder caching.

• Disable conflicting shortcode plugins temporarily.

Results not updating?

• Check browser caching

• Make sure JS is loading (no ad blocker interference)

Referral counter not moving?

• Ensure the link contains ?ytp_ref=<yourtoken>

• Test in a private/incognito window

• Only unique IPs count toward unlocks
